About This Game

A Combination of Melee and Shooting Experience gruesome combat against different enemy types. Switch between a heavy-hitting pickaxe and the Wave Gun to juggle the unrelenting attacks. An Over-Heated World In 2075, most humans migrated to a distant planet as Earth succumbs to the effects of The Overheating. Radiation exposure then caused a disease called Gradual Hyperthermia (GH) that slowly wiped out the remaining survivors on Earth. GH caused hallucinations, unexplained rage, hyper-strength, and emanating heat. Once it reaches its ember point, the survivors, once human, will become monstrous creatures simply waiting for its demise. Discover the Past Play as Gravitus, an ex-soldier and now researcher tasked by Katani Industry to return to Earth. His mission is to explore the possible GH cures, but he crash lands in a desolate town. Explore the ghost town, face the mutated, monster-like heat vacuums, and find out what happened to the townspeople. The Team Ember Point was a capstone game made by a group of eight undergrad students at the NYU Game Center.
