Sort of Justice - Chapter 1

You are a man with no particular goals or ambitions. Living through each day like the previous one. Perhaps the only thing that keeps you motivated each day is your co-worker, whom you consider your best friend. However, your life takes a dark turn when she frames you for a crime you didn't commit. After seven years in prison, you are released with the ambition to seek revenge on your backstabber. You enter the world of crime and violence, encountering many different personalities, both friends and foes. Along the way, you slowly learn that not everything is as it seems. Choices... matter Sort of Justice is a semi-kinetic adult visual novel. While there are no choices that can affect the plot, there are choices that can affect relationships between you and the characters. This means some choices might enable/disable dialogues, renders and animations in the future. Action Packed This game is strongly defined by its action elements. Expect constant gunfights, intense foot and car chases, thrilling hand-to-hand combat, and potentially more weapon play in the future. The goal is to effectively utilize the 'visual' aspect of visual novels and create a unique immersive experience for players. Intricate World Setting Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. Underneath the surface of our society, lies a foundation that may as well uphold the operation of the entire world. You think the world is run by the government? Well, ask yourself this. Who's running the government? Romance For those who love engaging in romantic relationships with fictional characters, this game got you covered. In this game, you will encounter many different love interests with unique personalities and backstories. Uncover their secrets and work to gain their trust. However, if you find the chemistry between you and any one of these love interests lacking, it is your choice whether you want to develop this relationship further. Immersive Experience The primary goal of this game is to immerse the player into the story as much as possible. To do this, I had to create and gather images, music and sound effects that complement each other. Here's a summary of Chapter 1's content: Render Images - 1,088 Animation - 5 Music - 19 Sound Effects - 112 Work in Progress This game is currently still in development. Future chapters will be released one by one, but not on Steam. (Check ) Once enough chapters are accumulated, future chapters will be combined as a season and sold as a DLC on Steam.
