In Spread: Transmission your opponents will crumble under your wrath, as you strategically plant charges across the board before inevitably launching a devastating combo taking over the entire island and winning the game! At its heart, Spread: Transmission is a board game. You charge cells to claim them and if a cell is fully charged it will spread, launching a combo and taking over connected cells. Win the game by taking over all of your opponents’ charges. You make the rules! Spread: Transmission is capturing the whimsical magic of house rules. Switch up the game at any time with “Labs”, a series of game modes that can be mixed and experimented with to craft beautiful and unique playing experiences. Want to change the game up with boxes? We got you! What about a lot of boxes that spawn very rarely? Sure. Add a little fog for deeper strategy? Definitely! Spread: Transmission is about playing the game the way you like. A little change to the rules can lead to widely different matches. Maps facilitate a fun playing experience and are also very capable of introducing gameplay concepts on their own. With over 20 maps to choose from and the ability to create maps on your own, the fun will never end. Design maps exploring various ideas like powerful combos, overcharging cells or just the concept of one-way-connections. If level design is not your forte, that’s fine too!
